This is all the insurgents can do. They can't fight us in a normal army vs. army battle, so they wait for small opportunities like this. In normal combat, people are fine with death. In this type of combat, every soldier killed is a front page story of horror which makes all the tree huggers call for withdrawel. If those two guys would've died in a regular battle involving a brigade of men vs. a brigade of their men, nothing would've been said. This is an interesting time we're living in. Mass death is something we're used to in war, but knowing the details of each soldier's death is something we can't handle. I wonder what would've happened in WWII if every soldier had his face shown on t.v. and the details of his death laid out for everyone to see.
