after partying balls in myrtle beach for 3 days (what happened hondo?) i came back home to throw a big engagement party for a couple friends saturday night.

got about 5 hours sleep then all hungover on sunday i got a call saying i'm back to work on a short indie christian

film. call time 6:AM monday. so i'm up at 5. brutal. 18 hours on set while strung out from a solid week of partying and drinking and passing out at 4-5 in the morning.

got home from work at midnight monday night to get about 4 hours sleep for call time at 7:AM for tuesday. got home tuesday night around 11:30. just enough time to shower and sleep for about 5 hours for another call time of 7:am wednesday.

by this time my head is spinning and i can't really think much less think straight. they let us go "early" at 10:PM last night as to get a "fresh start" today by pushing back a couple script pages. call time is again 7:am today. since we have to shoot more i'm guessing today will be at least an 18 hour work day.

this is not a union job which sucks fucking ASS because we're not getting paid hourly we're getting paid for the week. no overtime.

i was told when hired on that we would be going 12 hours per day mon-sat and i was already thinking that it would suck and now we're doing 18's.

film is scheduled to rap saturday night (sunday morning) but there are 3 location changes all across town and the 2 directors are slow as fuck so nobody on the crew sees this as even possible. we've got a veteran film guy (alos a teacher at local college for film school) saying they need to add a full week to schedule but instead these fuckheads are just going to cram everything into the next 3 days.

i'm tired, i'm sore, and i'm grumpy.

also i forgot to pay water bill so last night i came home to no shower.

i heavnt' read the toe since like wednesday of last week so if i missed any particularly good threads please link them here. i won't get to read them until monday or tuesday when i finally wake up from going to bed sunday morning at like noon when we finally wrap.

i'm not sure i'm cut out for the film industry. these hours are fucking insane.
