Re: Ron Paul heads
The only thing dumber than a straw pole is canceling a straw poll because too many people showed up for one guy and that's "not fair"....

I don't understand why RP has been attracting all the lunatics from both parties.

OUTRAGE!
People actually support their candidate by showing up and actively donating? |

Re: Ron Paul heads
It's sorta cute how excited they all are.
I'm afraid the election's going to end up being the day they all find out Santa didn't bring them a pony, but it's fun to watch them get all excited about what they're going to name it if they get one. There's never been a candidate I've been that fired up to vote for. |

Re: Ron Paul heads
Me either. Except this one, I gave money. Then I bought straw poll tickets for someone to go vote for him. Then I bought ad time for him. Then I'm giving more money on 12/16/07. After the holidays I'm going to donate ALL of my free time to his campaign. Because this is the best shot I've ever seen libertarian leaning people get at making a serious difference. He's the #1 money raiser in the Elephant Party right now. He has serious support all over the country and the media ignore him. This is the chance for change. If I didn't patricipate contribute and try, I would have only myself to blame. Liberty and Democracy are not spectator sports. If you want change you have to demand it and act on your demands. Otherwise the powers that be will run you over suck your lifeblood and spit you out when they're done. |

Re: Ron Paul heads
Pretty much ignores by its very nature the bluehairs and willfully ignorant shitheads in ghettos who check the D box as a knee jerk, but still pretty impressive. |

Re: Ron Paul heads
You don't mean actually implementing any real changes, you just mean that an "outsider" can get elected? Keeping in mind Paul's not really a politics outsider, he's just got different views than many politicians... Because if you think that if elected, Paul would be able to enact any of his ideas, I think you need to put down the organic soy milk decaf chai.... The whole system's fucking broken. Replacing the figurehead isn't going to make a real change. I agree it would be a step, and maybe we'd get some really viable L candidates if his example convinced people an L can win, but it's just a single step against a mountain of bullshit. |

Dont forget that gas has more than doubled in cost since 2002 just before the war on terrorists in iraq.

Re: Ron Paul heads
Dude it was the same fucking price for twenty years. Adjust it for inflation and it's still lower than it should be. We got spoiled on $1.20 gas. You gotta pay the piper someday.
