i couldn't make it to school today because the nasty headache i started getting late yesterday evening turned into some gnarly cold/flu right around 1:am

i woke up shaking like a junkie freezing cold while my entire body was in pain and my throat felt like it was lined with barbed wire. my head was pounding like a jackhammer and someone seems to have installed some sort of invisible c-clamps on my temples and my nose and tightened them up like a gorilla. i tossed and turned in bed in agony until i finally got up at 7:am to take a shitload of drugs.

i've been burning up but i'm about to swing into freezing cold and shaking mode here in a few minutes which should last a couple hours until all the sudden i get super hot and start sweating for no reason.

is this menopause

you're letting a cold stop you from free beer? moron. get up, get moving. I had to move into my house the day after new years eve in 99...and after drinking 2.5 (yes 2.5) bottles of champagne, along with about 6 beers or so (they tell me). I couldn't even see straight the next day, and I did it.

all I got out of it was a house...you get free beer. Get the lead out son.
