From what I understand, Americans are not simply allowed into Saudia Arabia without a sponsor. That is, you must have a business relationship with someone or know an Arab directly. You can't just fly in for a vacation.

Women have no rights over there and are segregated from many activities. Any American woman dumb enough to go there gets what she deserves.
