i went to see helmet a few weeks ago and man were they great.

but another great band opened for them, Burning Brides

the bassist is hot as fuck and i wanted to marry her but she was already married to the singer

some drunk asshole was messing with the singer/guitarists mic stand and the drummer ran out and dove into him and beat the crap out of him. that was awesome.

did you check out motorave? or did you know about them already? those guitars look rad as hell.

i went to the back bar @ soapbox to have a smoke and order another scotch and he walked right up to get some water after their set. i told him i thought they were real badass and he shook my hand and thanked me. he then commented about how wilmington folks went crazy at the show and he loved it. he also asked if i was australian which was funny. i guess i was drunk enough that i was slurring and had an accent. plus everyone's ears were blown out since BB was LOUD.

anyways we talked for about 20 minutes, and he was a really really fucking nice guy. just hanging out in a club full of people waiting for HELMET to play. i love it when rock stars aren't assholes. anyone want to tell bigdaddy the GODSMACKED story? :XD:

the hot bassist lady was super nice too. i bought her shirt.

if they're coming near you with fu manchu be sure and go see them. i'd go just to see basslady but damn you get burning brides rocking out and then the mother fucking fu manchu will melt your face and i hear they're the loudest band ever.

just try and save some energy during BB for the fu.

i still haven't really found a decent picture of her anywhere online.

she was stunningly hot in person. 5'5" 100lb redhead with a perfect body (the rare tits and ass combination) and full of energy. and not the please-god-shut-up energy, just pure rock and roll. i am totally smitten with her.

Didn't know what it was the first time thru, but I just went and checked it out. Yes, very cool guitars. I've always wanted a Bigsby whammy bar equipped electric - preferably a Gretsch - but have never splurged for one. No harm, really, because my hack playing would never do it justice...
