Tesla is one of my all time favorites. I cannot count how many times I've seen them. They have awesome energy, and Jeff Keith can still sing. Joe Elliott will "talk" half of the lyrics and won't hit anything in the upper register. He and Vince Neil should just move to spoken word.

dammit. now i'm torn. The teenager in me wants to go see def leppard and will be pissed if they suck and the old lady in me wants to see styx but both of us want to see tesla.

I've seen all three of the bands in question. I'd go with Tesla, too.

I'm not a very big Def Leppard fan to begin with, so that show was fairly meh for me. Styx was a the same concert. They were decent, but the set was ruined by that goddamn roboto song. I saw Tesla open for the Scorpions a few years back. I didn't even realize they were on the tour until the day before the concert. Surprisingly decent. The singer looked like hell, but he can still sing.

What's the problem? Tesla is touring with Def Leppard and Styx. You can go and know that the opening act will be the best part of the night. Then drink $10 beers so the other two sound better.
