ALso, my dvr cable box was being a dickhead so i had comcast out here. The first dude fucking jammed his thumb up his ass.

I called them back out and the next guy volunteered to drive over to the depot and get me a fresh of the truck new DVR HD box. It has twice as much dvr space and does 1080p.

Yes ma niggs, i have 1080p. This box also handles 3d HD channels which apparently there are many of now.

i actually sat in the cable office a couple of months ago waiting to switch out some converter boxes and watched one of those dumbass 3d tvs scroll customer names and ads. had a headache before i left. no damned way i'm putting one of those in my house. hd is bad enough...sometimes that's even too clear.

That's why I went with DLP. No motion issues like with LCD (it still looks fucked up, even with the 240mhz refresh rate). None of that shit where you can tell the actors are on a sound stage or in front of a green screen. Plasmas are better than LCD in those respects, but they're expensive. That 65" DLP cost $800.

I was all about 3d TV until I read the warnings from the manufactures and realised I only watch TV when drunk, tired, or for long periods of time. They tell me themselves all of these viewing conditions will cause me to get sick.... Plus, I would rather by a cheaper set, as there is very little 3d content available, and not much on the horizon.

I just got a new tv tooooo. 60" LCD led 1080p 240hz thingy. It's good.
