I have XP discs.

BUT I was told that audio driver and video card related stuff on PCs built for (fucking) Vista would mean that with XP I'd be doomed to having problems due to XP not supporting that shit and Micro$haft not updating XP for that hardware to force you to use Vista.

Is that PC store cocksucker bullshit?

Find a raptop, look up online "installing XP on bolognaPC" and see if anyone has had problems with it.

Or look up the components and their websites (i.e. go to NVIDA, or ATI or whatever) and see if you can DL XP versions of the drivers.

That's what I would do.
